MY FIRST FANART DISPLAY IN AN EVENT

Organized by Jihoon Fairies

My first self-made fan art of Park Jihoon of Treasure. Jihoon is a K-pop idol under YG Entertainment. He is born in March 14, 2000. He debuted in Treasure since 2020. My artwork, It was displayed during March 10, 2024, Sunday for his birthday celebration. I draw this art as a gift for Jihoon. It's my way of showing love and support to one of my favorite K-pop artist. He also motivates me to practice my skills and talent in making arts. My skills within a known universe. I'm so glad to share it with other K-pop fans. I also want to share how to digital draw a person. The application that I’m using to draw is Ibis Paint X and I’m just using my cellphone and fingers to draw. I’m not experienced to Stylus pen because I find it hard to use.

Here’s the step on how to digital draw a person:

1. Find  Reference: Find a reference. Clearer image are much better because of the details and it will not be hard to copy the details.

2. Outline: Start by creating an outline of the idol's body and face using a pen. Add a layer and outline the other details like accessories. Sometimes I am not sketching so I do the outline already. You can also trace the reference image if you have a hard time drawing it.

3. Features: Use your reference images to add more detail to the sketch. The more detailed, the better.

4. Add more Details: Add the idol's hair and clothing based on the reference images. Pay attention to the hairstyle and accessories. You can also change the details or add some accessories based on what you want.

5. Coloring: Create a new layer underneath the outline layer for coloring. Use eye dropper to copy the color of the reference image. You can change the colors if you want too. Add shadows and blend the colors and details so it looks similar to the real photo.

6. Highlights: Add highlights to give your drawing. Create new layers above the main color layer.

7. Final Touches: Once you're satisfied with the shading and highlights you can add more design and details to the drawing.

8. Background (Optional): You can add a background but keep it simple so it doesn't distract from the main drawing or character.

9. Save: Once you're finished, save your drawing. You can also share it to your friends and family.

I want to show my appreciation to the organizers and to the Teume’s or fans that appreciate and praised my artwork.

Thank you so much Jihoon Fairies for making my dreams come true. I cried at the venue because it's such a honor to be called an artist. Thank you to the person who comforted me and hugged me at the venue. Thank you to all people who supported me at the start until the end. I still can’t believed that many people loves my artwork even though it is simple. Thank you so much everyone!

TIPS IN ATTENDING KPOP EVENTS

I am sharing to you some tips of attending a Kpop events

These are things you need to bring. First, event essential such as your favorite photo card and stuff toys related to the artist. Second, the email confirmation for the event. Of course, don't forget to bring extra money for the food of the event. You also need to be prepared for the game participation to win more prizes and raffles.

There also many giveaways and prizes for the attendees that we prepared. Like, albums, photocards, banners, polaroids, lomocards, and fanarts drawn by me.

The event name of this example is FALLEN MinChan CSE and it was organized by LoveSTAYCavite on October 29, 2023 in Cafe Janggeum, SM Dasmariñas Cavite, Philippines.

The title, MinChan is the short term of Minho and BangChan. They are members of the K-Pop group named Stray Kids. They debuted under JYP Entertainment on year 2018. Leeknow or Lee Minho is born on year 1998 and Bangchan is born on year 1997.

The event theme is called Fallen because it is a mix of Heaven and Hell theme. An angel and a Fallen angel. We made this theme because we think it is unique concept of cup sleeve event and we also think that no one still that no one still make that concept as a cup sleeve event. So, we do that concept. It is a great concept of two brothers that is a fallen angel and an angel who are competing to the throne of royals. A fallen angel seeking redemption to a individual who fallen from grace and an angel who compete and doing his best to stay in his throne.

It has many games happened in the event. Like, Guess the music video, Bring me and many more... It’s very fun and memorable. The attendees are also funny and interactive to us. They participated to all event games.

The event is successful, thanks to my co-organizers and co-STAYs or fans. Thank you to all attendees that participate to the event because without you guys, the event will not be successful. Thank you to LoveSTAYCavite because we manage to start and finished the program successfully. We may encounter problems before and after the event but it doesn’t stop us to make the event successful. Thank you to Cafe Janggeum because of the service and for inviting us to celebrate Stray Kids’ Lee know and Bangchan birthday.
